"This is a wild horse battle between two stallions. The pinto stallion named Tishamingo was determined all spring and summer to acquire some mares of his own, fighting many of the established stallions in the big herd of Wyoming. I followed him daily on my trip to Wyoming in spring of 2022. Tishamingo is a very determined young stallion and at the age of five fought many older, well seasoned stallions. He would not give up until he finally acquired some mares in the fall of that year. No horses were seriously injured as I observed the big herd of 150 horses for several weeks. The wild mustang horse must learn to be tough to survive and only the strongest, most determined stallions will keep their mares. "
