"This is a small band of wild horses from the McCullough Peaks in Wyoming. The sun was setting as I was finishing up my day of photographing the wild horses in May of 2022. All of a sudden the stallion in the center with a star and blaze ran up to his mares and they began running with the setting sun behind them, giving them a warm glow from the backlighting. What a wonderful end to a perfect day! "
