"One of my favorite treats is to find a family of Black-bellied Whistling Ducks with little striped ducklings in the wetlands of Florida. These beautiful orange-billed ducks with their unique whistling calls are one of my favorite ducks. I found this family with twelve ducklings who looked to be only a few weeks old. The ducklings were busy dabbling and diving for insects and vegetation and they didn’t seem too concerned at my presence there. I watched them for over an hour as the ducklings never stopped moving."
